How to Connect to EVOWOW
World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King 3.3.5a (build 12340)
To play on EVOWOW, you need:
- a registered EVOWOW account;
- a compatible World of Warcraft client – WotLK 3.3.5a (build 12340);
- a correctly configured realmlist.
You can create an account from the Registration page. Before playing, we also recommend reading the Server Rules.
Game Client
EVOWOW does not provide or host the game-client files. You are responsible for having a lawfully obtained compatible client.
For convenience, a community torrent file for WotLK 3.3.5a (12340) is available. The torrent file itself contains only peer-to-peer sharing information; the game files are shared between users.
Configure the Realmlist
- Open your World of Warcraft directory and then Data\enGB.
- Find realmlist.wtf. Depending on your Windows settings, it may appear simply as realmlist.
- Open the file with a plain-text editor such as Notepad.
- Replace its current contents with the following line:
set realmlist logon.evowow.com
- Save the file and close the text editor.
Start the Game
- Start the game directly with Wow.exe.
- You can create a desktop shortcut to Wow.exe for easier access.
- Do not use Launcher.exe. It may update the client to a newer version that is not compatible with the server.
- At the login screen, use your EVOWOW username, not your e-mail address.
